Journey South the movie!
Hi Guys. Today I have finished producing my first movie on going south. Its predominately an experiment with the program and to see what might work and what doesnt.
So here it is. Its about 10 minutes long, and is just as much a playlist of some of my favorite songs, as a collection of mediocre photographs....
Yes, I enjoyed it! I am not sure about the music, but the photos are great & to put them together like this works well. The in-boat & boat to boat bits are also fun & the scenery & wildlife all adds to the overall feel for the place. Well done to get it uploaded on your internet system! many thanks
Brilliant little film, looks like you are enjoying the work and scenery is fantastic. Keep up the good work and keep the films and blogs coming. regards Ian Murdock MRCC Belfast
Thanks for the comments Mark. It took an all-nighter to get it on YouTube. The music, alas, is my taste i'm afraid!
Ian! Fantastic to hear from you! I trust Sunny Belfast finds you well? I cant describe what a special place this is Ian, and although I genuinely miss the Coastguard service, its difficult to miss it a lot with so many distractions here!
Love the video Matt, As for the music, Loved some of the Music, but the last track? Was your Ipod broken and you got that from someone else? If not and it is yours..... Have a word!
Loving the blogs et al, Very envious. Would love to do your job. Have an interview next week for 2nd Coxswain on a Pilot boat. Still loving Hamble Lifeboat and the skills you taught me in the short time together. Had interesting Day on Sunday, after the Snow melted, the Fog came down like Pea Soup, had loads of Merry Fisher type vessels lost in it and people aground!
Keep em coming, Lee at Hamble Independent Lifeboat
Hi and thankyou "Lee from Hamble independent lifeboat"... Yes the music was indeed mine, perhaps Huey Lewis is somewhat after your time, as it was an 80's track?? :-) Either way, it was abit of a joke and dedicated to the outgoing gang here.... they are an awesome bunch of people and will all be missed loads!
